Spring Semester 2021
Fall Semester’s precautions continued into the Spring, but we were able to continue limited ministry activities through the Spring without interruption. There was a brief period when we were limited to 20 in attendance at each of two BCM Worship gatherings, but that soon was raised to 50. Gatherings continued with masks and social distancing, but students have been acclimated to that reality.
A couple of our D-Groups met throughout the semester and we were able to have Spring Break SPOTS to Orange Beach, where we worked with Gulf Area Resort Ministries through the Baldwin Baptist Association. Much of our efforts were focused on cleaning up around their mission house. On the last day, pancakes were prepared and taken to nearby construction sites and given to the workers.
The semester ended with Spring Banquet and Formal. After a “virtual” banquet a year ago, BCM students were elated to be able to end the school year with an in-person event! We have high hopes for the Fall Semester ahead.
